SOCC Serve Team for Food Security - Community Kitchen

The Food Security Serve Team assists Community Kitchen that provides free nutritious meals, groceries including dry goods, produce, meat, dairy, food bags to schools, and nutrition education.

Opportunities to Serve:
  • prepare meals
  • serving meals 
  • packing boxes for kids/families
  • sorting produce/stocking shelves

Time Commitment:
  • Volunteers may come once per week/month/year
  • Special occasions and holidays  
  • Shifts are 2 hrs.
Prayer: Please pray that our Church volunteers can provide food and other resources to our community in a way that brings glory and honor to our heavenly Father.  Matthew 25:40 "The King will reply, Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me."
