SOCC Serve Team for Food Security - Hoosier Hills Food Bank

The Food Security Serve Team assists Hoosier Hills Food Bank that provides groceries including dry goods, produce, meats, dairy, and nutrition education.  The Hoosier Hills Food Bank serves over 5 million pounds yearly to over 100 non-profit organizations. They collect, store and distribute food to non-profit agencies that feed the hungry in Brown, Lawrence, Orange, Owen, Martin and Monroe counties in Indiana.

Opportunities to Serve:
  • packing boxes for kids/families
  • sorting produce 
  • stocking shelves 
  • gardening

Time Commitment: 
  • Volunteers may come once per week/month/year
  • Special occasions and holidays  
  • Shifts are 2 hrs.
