SOCC Serve Team for International Furniture Give-Away

The International Furniture Giveaway (FGA) annual event is an opportunity for you to help us be ambassadors to new incoming college students and scholars from around the world and give them a great first impression of the U.S. It is a way to show your Hoosier Hospitality. Many of these students and scholars who are arriving in our country have very little and greatly appreciate what we are offering. Many will be future leaders who will be impacted by the love shown to them. Most important we do this to show them the love of Christ in action!

Registration for event week (1 week before IU Classes begin) begins by May. Furniture and Household goods collection teams starts in April. We will send you links to volunteer. The latest information is on the FGA website.

  • 3 hours per furniture collection session
