Where do you turn when life doesn’t turn out the way you’d hoped?
Hi, I’m Shawn from Sherwood Oaks Christian Church with today’s Minute Message.
A few years ago, some friends of mine got news that no parent wants to receive. Doctors discovered an aggressive form of brain cancer in their 9 year old daughter. And while Calla put up a courageous fight, she passed away just 8 weeks later.
Times like these remind us that life doesn’t always turn out the way we’d hoped. While this world is filled with so many beautiful experiences, all of us go through dark times. So, where do you turn when life doesn’t turn out the way you’d hoped?
My friends turned to their faith in Jesus, who was an unshakable foundation in their time of pain.
