After serving 25+ years in various church ministry roles in Ohio and Indiana his family joined Sherwood Oaks in 2005. The change from located ministry allowed him to work for 12 years with "Remember the Children" ministry in Romania helping the Roma Gypsies, at risk children and village churches. He and Becky were married in 1977 and have two daughters, one living in Tokyo, Japan and one living in Burbank, California. He enjoys teaching Bible classes and special group studies. A major ministry focus now has been assisting with The SOCC Bedford campus. It's not uncommon to find him in the church kitchen helping coordinate church dinners, special gatherings and community events.
He enjoys great food and can be found in the community in several area restaurants enjoying the senior dinner specials or Sam's Club or Jay C's grocery planning his next group meal!
