Vanessa has been a preschool teacher at Sherwood Oaks since 2021. She earned her undergraduate degree in Bible and her Master's degree in Elementary Education. Before coming to Bloomington, she served as a children's minister in St. Louis for more than twelve years. She has three daughters who are active at Sherwood Oaks and in the Bloomington community. The people of SOCC and the preschool have been an incredible gift to their family.
She is deeply thankful that God has opened this opportunity to become more deeply involved in the ministry of the preschool and is excited to encourage the preschool teachers while helping children and families experience excellent, Christ-centered eduction.
When she's not serving in the preschool, you'll likely find Vanessa home with her children or walking the trails of Bloomington with a friend.
