As a former teacher’s assistant, Chapel leader, and proud SOCC parent, Michele knows firsthand just how special this community is. Her professional background is in corporate finance and operations. While earning her MBA and working as a Chief of Staff, she fell in love with organizing teams, solving complex problems, and building strong operational foundations. She is excited to bring that same strategic mindset and passion for teamwork to the preschool, ensuring our families and staff have the best experience possible.
Growing up as a preacher's kid, faith and church community have always been the center of her life. The Sherwood Oaks community has played a big role in her life since moving to Bloomington in 2018. She is married to Thomas and they have two children: Thomas Ellis and Anna. When she's not at Sherwood Oaks, you might find her traveling to new destinations with her family, organizing all the things, or enjoying her husband's amazing cooking! And... her favorite place is her own backyard!
